How NOT to Approach Weight Loss – 02/12/25

“I have struggled with my relationship with food since my teenage years. I developed anorexia nervosa at the age of 18. As an anorexic you look in the mirror and you think you are fat, even when you weigh less than 100 pounds in my case. After 5 years and some therapy I eventually came out of it, but I still did not have a healthy relationship with food. Food was still something to restrict, to know the calories in every crumb on your plate and something to be afraid of. Since Emma has been my coach, my relationship with food has changed drastically. Now I look forward to my meals. I eat whole foods and I don’t count calories. Thank you, Emma, for changing my life for the better! If it worked for me, it will work for you too!”

Vanessa faced plenty of challenges after starting (because, let’s be real—life happens). But she stuck with it. And now? She’s seeing incredible progress in a way that feels sustainable.

She’s no longer going “off plan”—because the plan fits her life. She’s built consistency like never before and has seen amazing results. That negative, doubting voice in her head? Gone. Replaced by confidence and optimism.
