You need these 2 things… – 11/11/24

This is such a fun time of year, and I’m really trying to make the most of it!

Last week, I went out to eat with friends and my family a couple times and this week my husband and I are getting ready to host out first Thanksgiving with our families and I’ll for sure be indulging on my mother-in-law’s apple pie!

This is what freedom feels like to me!

I’ve gotten to this place in my health journey for two main reasons…

#1 – The Right Mindset

I no longer obsess about how to manage social events or going out to eat.

I no longer have arbitrary deadlines in my head about needing to look a certain way by a certain time.

I don’t punish myself for taking breaks or reward myself for being “perfect.”

Once you realize that your fitness goals are a long-term game, the process feels less overwhelming, and there’s a calming sense of confidence that comes with that mindset.

Mindset is obviously key, but it’s not the only part!

You need the second piece…

#2 – The Right Plan

Fitness wether that be aesthetic, performance, or health focused goals still need a solid plan to make it happen.

For me, that means following a plan that fits my lifestyle, schedule, and personal goals.

I make sure I get enough sleep, have a sustainable workout routine, balance my meals, get enough movement throughout the day and I know what steps keep me moving forward consistently.

Having the right plan for YOU makes all the difference.

Both parts—the mindset and the plan—matter.
