The most frustrating feeling is when you’re doing a lot of things right but progress feels non-existent.

You follow a strict diet, spend hours in the gym, and keep increasing your movement.

And week after week after week… nothing changes.

It’s so much more frustrating to be in that position than to be the person who isn’t doing that stuff.

Like… people who eat whatever they want, don’t exercise, and are fairly sedentary.

At least in that case, it’s pretty obvious why things aren’t progressing.

But the person who does a lot of things well and still doesn’t see the results of their hard work reflected in their body composition and overall health…

Downright painful.

I know because I’ve been there.

And it wasn’t until I learned about what a realistic metabolic rate REALLY is that it all made sense and clicked.

I used to think of my metabolism as just calories in and out.

That was misguided and led to ineffective fat loss.

Now I think of my metabolism as WIFI.

The proper signal between brain and body creates a strong network where the message gets received.

Like streaming videos to your phone.

If the signal is weak… the video keeps spinning.

If the signal is strong… everything works as it’s supposed to.

The metabolic signal between body and brain is what creates easy fat loss.

I’m not saying the process of creating that strong signal is easy. I’m saying that once you create it, the results happen easily.

You have to understand your brain and body.

If you ignore those things… it’s like throwing diets and exercise at the wall and hoping something will stick.
