The secret to burning MORE body fat!

No it’s not another diet, no it isn’t another fancy exercise program.  It’s getting MORE SLEEP! Sleep affects your hormones, energy level, hunger regulation, and metabolism. When people sleep poorly they are more prone to snacking and eating fat and carb rich foods. If you want to burn more body fat, get 7-9hrs of quality sleep a night. Super simple way to cut down on calories

Eat your protein and veggies first with each meal!

Protein and fiber are the most satiating foods. If you eat your 30-50g of protein and your serving of veggies you will probably feel a lot more full than if you started with your starchy carbs! Not only is this SUPER simple but it requires no calorie tracking at all!

Costco Hack

You can get a 10lb tube of 95/5 ground beef at about $3-3.30 a pound! 

It’s not stored on store shelves but you can ask the butcher for a ground beef chub and get anywhere from 92-8 to 95-5! I partition them into 1-2lb packs when I get home and store them in the freezer for later 🙂

TDLR: Trying to save money and eat a high protein diet, hit up Costco and get the ground beef chub!

HIGH PROTEIN SCRAMBLE

Ingredients:

200g of egg whites OR 1.5 servings of cottage cheese

2 whole eggs
Sautéed spinach

Directions:

  1. Heat up the pan to medium-low with 1 tsp of avocado oil.

  2. Sauté the spinach and in a bowl mix the eggs and egg whites or cottage cheese.

  3. Once the spinach is wilted, add the eggs to the pan and scramble to desired textured.
